For architects of the 21th century, it will be the challenge to rethink and create new forms of architecture that will be able to go in dialogue with a more layered and complex context. Treating this complexity as an opportunity rather than a problem we try to erase.
The National Museum of Roman Art is designed by Rafael Moneo Vallés. This architectural piece of Rafael Moneo is a beautiful example how architecture can deal with a site branded by its past, existing out of delicate but important layers of history, without destroying or neglecting its historical value.
