The project I have chosen is the reindeer pavilion of Snohetta. The pavilion is located in Norway in the Dovre mountains. It is open for the public and serves as an observation pavilion for the Wild Reindeer Foundation educational programs. In the pavilion there is a big contrast between the inside and the outside. The inside is very heavy but curved as if it is a reflection of the mountains. The outside is made of steel and glass. It is a very rigid framework for the curves on the inside. The use of the pavilion is also really beautiful. It is not only a place for education but also a place where you can rest peacefully. You can continue your meditation that started during the walk. It is a place where eventually you can meet other people who also love to walk and enjoy the view over the mountains. Or you meet people who also love to spot and learn about the wild reindeers.
